Lurching Across the Finish Line

Hurrah, my fellow NaBloPoMistas, hurrah!  We made it!

Well, I made it.  I hope you did, too.  In honor of the occasion, and as the Internet has not in fact exploded, I present you with gifts.  These are Official Completion Tokens.  They have been Officially Not Objected To by our faithful founder, Mrs. Kennedy.

'I did NaBloPoMo '07' with bling and cleavage.

Mission Accomplished tattoo.

I also made one for people who tried real hard but didn't quite get there, or for people who didn't try hard at all but meant to, really:

Cute kitten who blew it but is still cute.

If you want to use any or all of these, please do so freely, with my compliments.  If you want to make your own, I recommend trying your hand at ImageChef.com, where I made these (and thanks again, Michelle).  Mrs. Kennedy has made and gathered others here.

Personally, I'm kind of fond of the sentiment "Blog Free or Die," so I might just leave that one up there only change the caption above it.  But I want you to be happy, so here.  Have some alternative options, and enjoy.

Love 'em!

Yay!! *dances*
Thanks for the awesome badges, I snagged the supa bling one ;)

Wow, these are cooooool. Well done!

I have grabbed the tattoo completion badge! Thank you for making them!

I did it this year, and I'm happy to tell the world with your art!

(thank you)

Yayyy! And thanks!

Oh, I love the tat token! I made it, woohoo!

Thanks! I'm taking the tattoo one!

Can you make one that says something like "I was hoping the internet would explode... NaBloPoMo 2007"?

You have way madder intarwebz skillz than I.

Thanks much for the cool tattoo badge. I blogged about it here

Congrats, I would feel better about this accomplishment if I could tell anyone in real world about it and not sound like I am in 7th grade getting all excited. I tried to tell someone and they say, "blogs....I don't do blogs, don't read em, don't care." Wow, guess no one cares about my new pencil case either.

Anyway, good job on the tats and the photoshoppy and the month

BLC, give me a week. Too tired and busy now, but if I find an appropriate free graphic I didn't have to draw or shoot myself (like these), anything could happen. Meanwhile, if someone else wants to do this, I believe Mrs. Kennedy would be amenable.

HH, cheers! I love ukuleles.

Elizabeth, I find it useful when I tell people in the "real" world about NaBlo to explain that it's just one of several annual events which together comprise the Internet's version of flagpole sitting. Even if they don't know what flagpole sitting was, they are usually too embarrassed to admit it and nod knowingly.

Sarah:

I came for the badges and then took a sec to look around. You’re funny. I like that in a blogger.

For me, november never ends - I see you took a 24 hour break - Forever November - that's the slogan!

Hooray! Thank you! I, of course, used the dammit I couldn't make it all the way badge, but it IS cute :)

I had it link back to you.

I just wanted to tell you how funny I think your last one is. Every time I see it I crack up!

I included it in a post on my blog and linked it to your Ning profile. If you'd prefer I link it to this blog, let me know.

Thought I'd left a thank you post the other day when I came and stole the tattoo badge. Sometimes I hit 'post' and close the window without checking to see if it worked.

Oh well.

Thanks, and belated congrats, etc. I couldn't have done it without you. Well, maybe could have, but certainly would not have done it without you :)

Awesome! I snagged the "Mission Accomplished" tat one!
