It's raining, not snowing, crocus leaves have begun to dot the lawn in tiny spiky crowns, and my tulips have already sent forth rosy shoots several inches tall. Continents of snow upon the lawn at last shrink back and vanish into air and mud. This can only mean one thing: Gardening season is upon us! Yay!
