But it's just a pompom, okay? They're, like, really easy to make. You can make your own.
This one, though, this stays with the hat. And the scarf. These are the first hat and scarf I've ever made. All together, I think they took me about a week of watching prime time TV and/or whatever I got from Netflix to complete. (I always watch TV while I crochet.)
There's no pattern or anything. I had some leftover yarn, so I just started crocheting and kept crocheting 'til I had a scarf-length piece of fabric. I put a fringe on it. Then I started crocheting some more and just kept crocheting until I had a matching hat. I felt the hat really needed a pompom. The pompom might have been too much. Or it might have been the pièce de résistance. I like it, either way. But everyone who sees it wants to touch it.
I know you want to touch it.
This post is filler, of course, while I work on another one which really means something to me. I'm taking my time writing that other one, and researching a little bit of it, too. I think I'm about a third of the way through.
Maybe I will finish it tomorrow. In the meantime, please feel free to admire -- but not touch -- my poofy little pompom.
Wish I had the talent/gumption to do crocheting - I love to see what others produce. That's very cuddly looking.
