M. L'Admiral: The garden's pretty, eh? I've painted it a hundred times. That may seem strange to you.
Marie-Thérèse: No. You paint what you love.

Yes, yes, Georgia O'Keefe has painted all the flowers, and Shakespeare has told all the stories. Yet still we dare to show each other what we find in our own gardens and tell the tales of our own lives. (Click to enlarge.)
I speculate that things worth saying and hearing are always worth saying and hearing, that natural beauty is always worth celebrating, and that questions of who has said it better or best or most recently or most definitively are irrelevant when there are so many of us looking with our own eyes, hearing with our own ears, singing with our own voices, and no one who can hear or see it all in one lifetime. Yes. Beautifully said.

These really look so Georgia O'Keefe. That surreal blue and the glowing white center. Lovely.

I had a dream about you last night. I feel compelled to tell people if I dream about them. You were very nice, and we made jam tarts together. So there we go.
Hope you are doing all right.

I don't suppose they were blueberry jam tarts, Goldfish? Or strawberry? Because I made a lovely, sloppy, gooey blueberry pie yesterday, and also a quart of strawberry ice cream. Yes, both in one day. But it's not like we ate it all yesterday, so that's all right.
Perhaps you were channeling my extravaganza. :)

That is pretty weird actually, because they were in fact blueberry jam tarts. Honest. Raspberry too, for variety. Clearly I must have picked up on your blueberry vibes. :-)
