We are all happy here at the latest Sam update. CatGirl stood on her dinner chair and cheered. John wondered whether Sam would soon be a big fat kitty...me, I'm just smiling..

So glad for the Sam update. I think the grouchiness is a good sign, under the circumstances. Glad to here it's benign. Ruby's glad, too. Or she seems pretty cheerful at any rate. She just trotted past me with a rope toy and is sitting on the sofa with it and gnawing on it enthusiastically.

As long as she's not chewing on the sofa, I don't mind that she's on the sofa, chewing.

So happy to hear Sam is doing OK. A little grouchy? Heh. I think *they're* lucky to escape unharmed.

Contest? Woohoo!!!!

Thank you all for your good wishes. Isn't it great how the vet personally calls every day between about 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. with a status report? I am such a neurotic fearbag. If she didn't do this, I'd be prostrate on the pale yellow, chintz-covered loveseat.

Hm, maybe later.

Damn right, I would be grouchy too in those circumstances. And I think it's a very good sign that he is feeling well enough to be grouchy.

I hope he gets to come home to you soon.
