Sara...

  • ...is a happy, ordinary, middle-aged, suburban woman who paints odd pictures, gardens in a straw hat, lives with the love of her life, is owned by one cat and the ghosts of several others, and walks a little funny 'cause she has a fake leg. She started this website because there's more to life than what we lose, and we need to let each other know what's possible, even if it's only a happy, ordinary life.

All things wild and wonderful, all creatures great and small.

Thanks!

alphabitch

wow.

One of my biggest regrets is that I never painted the exterior of my car, when I had one.

I especially like the loon.

Dragonflies, foxes, and loons, oh my!

Happy Thanksgiving :)

Sara

I'm so glad you ladies enjoyed this.

But, pssst -- I think that's a great blue heron, not a loon. This area is crazy with 'em. I could be wrong, but to my mind the long legs and the classic frog-stalking pose tend to support my position.

Amorette

I LOVE that heron.
