My Photo

  • a happy, ordinary, middle-aged, suburban woman who paints odd pictures, gardens in a straw hat, lives with the love of her life, is owned by one cat and the ghosts of several others, and walks a little funny 'cause she has a fake leg. She started this website because there's more to life than what we lose, and we need to let each other know what's possible, even if it's only a happy, ordinary life.

I just looked at the Etsy store. (Sigh) Sara knew me so very well. None of the pieces are as beautiful as the ones she made especially for me. Of course, the beauty for me is in my eyes. Maybe these are lacking the love that she put into mine.

I am so excited, I finally own an ankle bracelet!

Thanks Erik for making Sara's stuff available.

I don't have time to check every day so please let me know when you have posted the new items. I do check in to this blog once a week so it would be nice if you could post an announcement here.

...then we can have another run on the jewelry :)

o. I had Sara in my favorites and, these days, I just don't get to them very often.

I'm so sorry. I'll miss her. Thank you for taking the time to carry on for a little while with us.

I just received my pearl bracelet made by Sara. Thank you, Erik. Just thank you for sharing with us. I plan to wear it on my wedding to remember her and two, well I just know how much she felt about marriage (ha!).
